By volunteering, you might help researchers find new treatments for the future, receive investigational medicines and study-related medical exams during the study, and learn new information about your condition.
Do you have Type 2 Diabetes?
Do you suffer from severe reflux or heartburn?
Symptoms of erectile dysfunction?
Do you feel depressed?
A medical research study, also known as a clinical trial, is a carefully designed study in which participants are asked to take an investigational medication under the supervision of a physician and other research professionals.
Medical research studies must be approved by an Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee (EC). An IRB or EC is a group that is responsible for helping to protect the rights and welfare of study participants. In addition, every study participant is monitored with medical tests and study-related exams before, during and sometimes even after the study.
Participation in studies is entirely voluntary. You may choose to discontinue participation at any time. For a confidential, free evaluation or information on any of our programs, please call our office at (949) 753-1663.
